Welcome to the Design for Vision Newsletter. This Newsletter was created to provide information on the ever-growing topic of innovations in eye care. This Newsletter is updated as new technology becomes available. Our goal is to provide a quick and easy way for you to stay up to date and get the latest information wherever and whenever you need it. Unlike most chain optical operations, Design for Vision has experienced opticians and doctors. Our staff has more experience than any other retail optical chain in Bucks County. The opticians, who fabricate your eyewear, have over 30 years in optics. Our machinery is state-of-the-art with robotic edging and rimless drilling. This detail, combined with experience, gives you the best final product. Sunglass wraps and motorcycle rimless eyewear are our specialty. Currently, these are the most sought after styles, but are quite often difficult to put your prescription in properly. Unlike our competitors, who use the standard grinding techniques and machinery, Design for Vision is different; we have developed our own custom grinding wheels. These wheels insure a sharper deeper bevel that will hold your lens firmly in the frame and make your lens appear thinner. The lens will stay in the frame and the top eyewire will not pop off. This is a common problem that we have solved and is incorporated into all motorcycles and wrap sunglasses that we sell. This combined with the proper fit and selection of your frame by our experience opticians gives you the best style and the best look you could ask for. We can fabricate your sunglasses in polarized, mirrors, transitions, high index, progressives and single vision lenses in the frames you desire.
